Thank you to all who have served, are serving and will serve.
Here is another set of images from the Grand Blanc Living Historian Society’s firs drill of 2012. The soldiers in this set are Dakota Ford Starr, Justin Wetenhall, and Kallen Kriewall. I have quite a few more images to edit and post. I hope to get to them real soon.
I did a shoot with the Grand Blanc Living Historian Society as they held their first drill of the year. These are a couple of pictures from the shoot. I took well over 400 pictures that day, so it will take a bit to go through them all. I am really looking forward to working with GBLHS this year. They are a group of history buffs who do historical reenactments, fantasy camps, and other events. If you are interested in more information about them, send me a note and I will get you in contact with them. They are currently working on a website and it should be up soon.
Not the greatest subject but what you gonna do right? I figured out how to hook my camera up to my laptop so I could shoot remotely with a time delay. I took a bunch of pictures to see what would happen. I played with my lights and some gels and different set ups then did some post processing in Photoshop to make me look handsome.
Winter. Cold. Brrrrr.
The obligatory cat picture.
I read an article about converting images to black and white and thought I would take a shot. Not sure if this came out great or not. Tips and advice appreciated.
Taken on my sister’s porch.
Got to the bar early before darts and decided to snap some pic.
This was shot at Linden Park, Linden Michigan. I was trying to do a depth of field thing with the cat-tails. It took me a bit to get the camera to focus on what I wanted but I finally got it. I am not sure this is a “good” picture but I like it. I did some post processing on the raw file in Photoshop. Any post processing tips would be appreciated.
